Designed by Mac Funamizu, the Infographic coins were thought of as an idea to help travelers in foreign lands. It can often take a few days or even weeks to get accustomed with a nation’s currency and one can become easily confused and pay more for something than they were meant to.
The purpose of the Infographic coins is to alleviate that confusion by having each coin a different shape. A dollar would be a full circle, 50 cents half, 25 cents a quarter circle then the process would start over with the dime.
For any little annoyances that one may incur, I believe the Infographic coins would be an essential tool in any globetrotter’s wallet.
