The design team at the Benn+Penna recently put together an outdoor indoor kitchen in a quaint home in Australia that seamlessly flows from the interior to the backyard. The kitchen functions as a merged space between the two settings, that is well-suited to the temperate climate of the location. The uninterrupted design provides a canteen that can be used both inside as well as outside.
The portion of the kitchen that is located inside features a simplistic and modern design, white pale wood cabins topped with white countertops. The counters continue to flow to the outside where they connect to an outdoor bench and barbecue. The spaces can be left as one unit or closed off using sliding glass doors to provide more segmented space. The flow of the kitchen provides a seamless design between the interior and outside of the home.
