These ice cube molds are shaped like planet Earth for a reason -- they take a crafty approach on the topic of global warming and encourage "global cooling."

Inspired by the idea of reversing the greenhouse effect, designer Ken Goldman named these the Global Cooling ice cube molds. A pack comes with two blue spherical molds that leave imprints of the atlas on your ice orbs. The molds are made of BPA-free silicone, keeping the environment in mind.

Most ice cube molded trays, though they promise funky shapes, don't produce completely 3D ice cubes because they end up flat on one surface. These orbs are absolutely spherical, adding a stylish and decorative touch to summer drinks. These neat ice cube molds would make a great gift for a science teacher or for an activist's housewarming.
