Halloween may be a cold time of year, but that doesn’t mean that frozen desserts, like these upside down ice cream witches, are any less appealing.
Nothing says evil witches to kids like a green warty face. Made with pistachio ice cream, candy corn, chocolate chips, licorice and chocolatey cones, these spooky desserts are as much fun to decorate as they are to eat.
If pistachio isn’t a flavor that you or your children enjoy, mint or green tea are also great options, especially if the latter is intenser in color. For an added wickedness, dot on some warts with mini Fuzzy Peaches, which are available in snack sizes around Halloween.
These frozen treats are best eaten soon after decorating, but if they start to melt, don't fear. Just stick them in the freezer for a bit and they’ll be good to go.
