Samsung's Ice Bucket Video Shows Off the Galaxy S5's Water Resistance

A lot of the time, phones and water just do not get along, but in this Ice Bucket video, Samsung shows off the unique water-resistant properties of the Galaxy S5.

Since the Ice Bucket Challenge is first and foremost intended to raise awareness for ALS, Samsung did donate money to fighting the disease. However, this video could be seen as rather exploitative by some since it is more about hawking a product than combating ALS. Since it is the nature of the campaign to nominate someone else to take the challenge, the Galaxy S5 voices some of its competitors phones that should try it out next, and these phones would likely not be able to withstand water in the same way.
