Portable Hydrogen Stations

Hyperion Announced the 'Hyper:Fuel' Stations for its XP-1 Supercar

Hyperion announced its 'Hyper:Fuel' portable hydrogen fuel cell stations. These fuel cell stations are movable and do not require a connection to the grid, meaning Hyperion can adjust the location of its Hyper:Fuel charging bays to dynamically meet customer demands in each market.

Each Hyper:Fuel charging bay serves as a hydrogen fuel cell charger and an electric vehicle charger. The station uses water electrolysis combined with solar energy to produce hydrogen which is used to replenish fuel cells. Additionally, excess energy not actively used for electrolysis is stored in backup power sources, allowing for charging of vehicles even during a grid failure.

According to Hyperion, the Hyper:Fuel charging stations solidify the Hyperion XP-1 as a "truly green" supercar that uses reusable energy throughout its entire life cycle.
