Living in London, England would already be a dream come true for many people, and when you add in a flat like this Hyde Park Townhouse, the deal gets even sweeter. This contemporary residence was designed by the architecture and design firm SHH Architects.
The Hyde Park Townhouse is a victorian-style building packed with gorgeous bones that made this contemporary transformation a breeze. In order to maintain functional family living, Susan Knof of SHH architects combined colorful touches and muted decor to produce a function, yet high-style living space.
Implications - Consumers were once fixated on purchasing brand new products; however, as consumers continue to take more of an interest in history and the green movement, upcycled products are becoming more favorable. Just as this London flat has victorian history, consumers are drawn to its unique story, but still appreciate its contemporary finishes. This is something businesses should consider when creating future products.
