Package delivery is set to get a lot more efficient in the near future as electric and autonomous transportation technologies become more widespread, which is something the conceptual 'TU523' hybrid electric VTOL aircraft gives us a taste of. The aircraft is capable of picking up entire shipping containers and transporting them high above roadways to their final destination at a cost that is 70% less than traditional trucking and about seven-times faster. The 16 electric turbines on the aircraft adjust and adapt to conditions or requirements to get it from location to location efficiently without interruption.
