'Hvisl – Whispers Of Iceland' is Exceptionally Immersive

As more and more people embrace electronic books over physical ones, artists and designers are coming up with reasons why the latter still matters; case in point, 'Hvisl – Whispers Of Iceland.' This coffee book table is not only filled with gorgeous high definition images of the Nordic island country, it emits a soundtrack that corresponds with the images. Although this can be easily achieved digitally as well, there is something especially immersive about this experience.

'Hvisl – Whispers Of Iceland' was created by graphic designers Bertrand Lanthiez and Chloé Curé. From cracking ice and rolling waves to echoing voices and even singing, the sounds bring the images to life. These sounds were worked on in collaboration with Johannes Mandorfer, who also provided some of his own.
