Dolby's Sound of a Masterpiece Shares an Inclusive Experience of Fine Art

The beauty of famous fine art masterpieces can move some people to tears, and to make the experience of art more inclusive to the blind and partially sighted community, Dolby created Sound of a Masterpiece. This immersive album inspired by world-famous works of art was made possible with visually impaired composer Bobby Goulder, award-winning composers from the New Radiophonic Workshop,the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), and Dolby Atmos mix engineer Isabel Gracefield.

The tracklist for Sound of a Masterpiece includes interpretations of paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Monet, Munch, Basquiat, and Frida Kahlo that delve into the intricacies of emotions, textures, and contrasts for a sensory experience centered on hearing and feeling.
