Pizza Hut recently introduced a new ordering feature that allows customers to see how long food will take to prepare and deliver before they place their order. With more and more consumers expecting on-demand services, the feature gives customers a better idea of when their food will arrive.
The new feature is called 'Visible Promise Time' and it is available online from the Pizza Hut website. Customers simply search for the nearest Pizza Hut location and the website will automatically determine the estimated wait time for delivery or carry-out orders. The wait time is determined based on a number of different factors, such as the number of orders the restaurant is processing, the number of delivery drivers currently available and average drive times for that day.
While the feature has already been tested for several months, customers across the country will soon be able to see how long their food will take to arrive before they even place their order.
