Baca architects created its second line of amphibious housing units that aim to resolve the housing crisis in London by eliminating the need for land space. The London-based architect firm worked with Floating Homes Ltd to create these housing facilities titled 'Buyoant Starts.'

These homes are small and fully functioning. Each housing unit contains a dock that embraces the idea of living on the water. Additionally, large windows provide ample amounts of natural light throughout the two storey units. These cozy two bedroom homes are estimated to cost about $150,000 due to their prime real estate locations.

Their design concept originated through a competition presented by New London Architecture. As land space continues to decrease and urbanization increases, these floating abodes might be one way to reduce the housing crisis in London.
