Exterior-Blended Architecture

House Duk by Nico van der Meulen Architects Spills into Surroundings

The people living in House Duk by Nico van der Meulen Architects were looking for a very specific design. Not wanting to be cut off from the natural landscape, the owners wanted the interior and exterior of this house to blend in perfectly, and avoid as much of a barrier from the garden and pool to the living room as possible. Nico van der Meulen Architects certainly went above and beyond for these demands.

The living room for the house is situated on the lower level, and opens up completely to the pool section outside. When all of the windows and doors are open in House Duk, individuals can easily walk from the inside to the outside of the house without even having to worry about running into walls.
