Award-Winning Cask Bourbons

Hoot + Howl Offers an Exceptional New Bourbon Expression

Hoot + Howl Spirits is releasing a new bourbon expression that has undergone a secondary aging process in casks that were previously used for Sicilian amaro, a type of Italian herbal liqueur. This seven-year-old bourbon spent an additional year in these specialty casks. Hoot + Howl Spirits' method is intended to imbue the spirit with a complex profile that merges traditional bourbon characteristics with botanical and bitter notes.

Dubbed the Amaro Cask Bourbon, the product has already been recognized with a silver medal at the 2025 Heartland Whiskey Competition. The company attributes this accolade to its meticulous focus on historical production techniques such as selective barrel aging and a slow dilution process.

Hoot + Howl Founder Callan Deline, enthusiastically shared: "We've been patiently refining this bourbon for years using historical techniques, and with the amaro cask bringing such unique notes, we believe this is a truly special release."
