Social media is a great place to instantly share what you're doing at any given time, but as this Eurofil home insurance campaign points out, this isn't always a good idea.
The 'Instatrap' campaign involved targeting users who had made use of hashtags like #sun #holiday or #island, since they were clearly outside of their houses and having way too much fun. Eurofil made alarming comments, such as things like: "Your holiday seems cool. As cool as staying at your place when you're not there." With a creepy comment like this, users were bound to click to find out more about the profile, which led Instagram users to more information about how they could protect themselves from burglars.
