Microsoft's HoloLens Technology Will Soon Support Holoporting

Microsoft’s HoloLens technology, which is now available for pre-order, has created quite the buzz since its initial announcement. Now the tech giant is announcing a brand new innovation that uses the same augmented technology to create holographic teleportation.
Aptly titled Holoportation, this new innovation utilizes the HoloLens technology to allow images, sounds and movements from 3D cameras to be captured, stitched together and then transmitted in real-time. This provides an almost realistic virtual replica of a human being. Microsoft’s I3D research group has created Holoportation to record and play back past interactions, which makes it seem as if users are physically interacting with their memories.
Holoportation also has the power to shrink a person down to fit on a table for even more hi-tech fun.
