Braille Chocolate Boxes

Purdys' Holiday Braille Box Supports Blind & Partially Sighted Consumers

The Holiday Braille Box by Purdys was created for and with the blind and partially sighted community so that enjoying favorite chocolates becomes more accessible to all. Molly Burke, a digital creator in the blind and partially sighted community, says "Imagine going 27 years without being able to pick your own chocolates without the help of another person or technology, that's been my life until now. This is more than a box of chocolates, it's the sign of change."

The box is equipped with braille tags and a braille chocolate legend, plus a QR code that can be used with an accessible screen reader.

Thanks to a great response to the Holiday Braille Box, Purdys has announced that it will be re-releasing the box in the new year.
