Purdys Chocolatier, which introduced the Holiday Braille Box in 2021 to make beloved holiday treats more accessible to the blind and partially sighted community, launched a Braille Advent Calendar for the 2024 holiday season. This calendar features a Braille cover and 24 tabs with numbers in Braille that open to reveal a sweet surprise for every day that counts down to Christmas in December.

The Braille Advent Calendar filled with festively wrapped milk chocolates helps to make tradition more inclusive for all ages, delighting kids with a more inclusive version of the chocolate-filled countdowns seen in stores, and providing adults with a daily treat that's as joyful as it is nostalgic.

During the spirit of giving Purdys' Dear Santa Bar is returning for its sixth year, reintroducing a sweet gift that gives back to children’s hospital foundations across Canada.
