Hiroki Takada has been creating dazzling works of modern art (disguised as furniture and lighting installations) over the last decade. The inspiration for his elegant designs comes from the natural world and classical art.

The Orchid Light is a beautiful take on a beautiful flower, and the featured Nike chair was inspired by a Greek statue.

Implications - Hiroki Takada says that he wants to impress people with his work, as well as impress himself. His furniture designs were created to withstand time and live on forever in the ever-changing modern world. Takada claims that he would like to create new and beautiful things that are unlike anything else. He is doing a magnificent job because his works are gorgeous!
