Supercharged Public Transit

High-Speed Rail is Coming to America Soon

President Obama is aiming to keep America’s public transportation current with the rest of the world by pushing the development of high-speed rail. The high-speed transit would cover most of the United States and will create jobs and cleaner and faster public transit.

High-speed rail has been in use in other countries since 1964. It remains to be seen whether this concept takes hold in America, because as Miss South Carolina would say, “We as U.S. Americans” love to drive.

If it creates jobs and helps me save gas I’m all for it. Read more below to get the nitty gritty on President Obama’s high-speed rail plan.
