Brightline, an eco-friendly rail service in southern Florida, has launched a new multi-modal travel app called Brightline+. The new service lets travelers plan their journeys by booking multiple modes of transportation across both private and public sectors.
This means that passengers will be able to book a combination of travel methods in a single sitting, including train rides, shuttle buses, and shared electric vehicles. Passengers will be able to book an EV or shuttle through the Brightline+ app two hours before their departure. In addition, travelers can use the app to pre-order food throughout their journey.
“With this innovation in transportation, we are connecting Miami like never before, providing endless business opportunities for the entire region of South Florida," said Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
