The Herschel Supply office based in Shanghai, China, was created by the firm Linehouse Design and uses the location's surroundings as inspiration to build off of.
The office is located in an urban residential area in which many older buildings are being torn down and replaced, although traces of these buildings remain, and function as the inspiration for the Herschel Supply office. The design of the office itself was created with the goal of representing deconstruction, as well as the balance between public and private.
As a result, this contemporary industrial office space features a large open concept area, as well as private structures within the office that house meeting rooms and collaborative working or lounging spaces.
