The Half-Baked pizza by Los Angeles' The Pizza Plant is a 13-topping creation that boasts a crust that is dressed with Alpen Organics CBD. The pizza is topped with all vegan-friendly ingredients, including house-made sausage, nacho cheese, black beans, chipotle salsa, cashew-based sour cream, shredded cabbage, hemp seeds and other vegetable additions.
Knowing that many consumers are fond of extra sauces and dips when it comes to enjoying a pizza, The Pizza Plant serves the Half-Baked pizza with an extra half-ounce container of CBD-infused olive oil, which can be drizzled over the pizza before eating.
As The Pizza Plant founder Marvin V. Acuna describes, “I wanted to create a pizza that paid homage to California’s passion and advocacy for the health benefits of CBD and THC. With that in mind, my chef and I considered what we’d want on a pizza if we were 'baked.'"
