Nut-Based Vegan Pizzas

This Pizza Uses a Mozzarella Alternative Made With Almonds & Cashews

Talia di Napoli, which is renowned for its frozen handmade pizzas, has made history by launching its first ever vegan pizza that makes use of an Italian-sourced vegan mozzarella cheese alternative.

The brand's 'Vegan Margherita' pizza is crafted together with a handmade sourdough crust that is sheathed in pomodoro sauce and fresh, premium basil. The cheese alternative in question is a fully plant-based mozzarella that is created by an Italian supplier using a combination of almonds and cashews. The pizzas are handmade by highly-trained pizza-makers in Naples, with the pizzas then put through cryogenic freezing to ensure that their freshness is preserved when users to go about heating them up.

Available online in a six-pack for $120 or as an eight-pack for $144, this 'Vegan Margherita' is a fine example of how plant-based ingredients can be used to make delectable vegan pizzas.
