Comic books have become more and more influential for the 20th century art.
Italian designer Giuseppe Canevese brings to light the most important works of Guido Crepax in the form of furniture which can be brought into our homes.
Crepax is an Italian designer who influenced comic art and design in the second half of the 20th century. His works included a female character, Valentina, and all his works were marked with a heavy dose of eroticism along with a dreamy storyline and psychedelic influences.
The furniture pieces use fragments from his comic books and can be used as focus pieces in a classic light and clean room.
After seeing the Nike Air Force One homage to classic American comic books and heroes, the design pieces by Giuseppe Canavese bring to light these great erotic works of Crepax. And maybe you can get inspired from the comics in your own bedroom.
