Inspired by the success of its Cauliflower Pizza Crust, Trader Joe's set out to create a unique new variation on this idea and settled on a green pizza crust made with broccoli and black kale—in fact, these two ingredients in the Trader Joe’s Broccoli & Kale Pizza Crust make up more than 50% of the recipe.

Alongside broccoli and kale, the gluten-free pizza includes corn flour, water, cornstarch, potato starch, olive oil and salt. Notably, the healthy, vegetable-packed pizza crust is made without cheese or eggs, which are commonly used to bind the ingredients in a gluten-free pizza crust together.

A single slice of the pizza crust is low in calories and carbs and contains just a half a gram of fat.
