Grass is green, and green design is popular right now, so were grass-covered chairs really that far behind? It seems not as a whole slew of designers are making their mark with their grass chairs.
From formal chairs covered in grass-printed fabrics, to shag covered chairs, to outdoor loungers with real grass, the look varies but the idea is the same. Green grass really does grow all around.
Implications - With the rise of globalization and urban populations continuing to grow at an unprecedented amount, many individuals may feel a sense of disconnection and unwilling detachment from the great outdoors. While it is often challenging to find the time to invest in nature activities, companies can benefit by providing consumers with products that generate similar feelings or experiences. In doing so, they will appeal to a large clientele that is continuously expanding.
