Graffiti pieces bring the best out of their surroundings. While graffiti is looked at as delinquent behavior, good graffiti can truly accentuate the wall it's placed on. These pieces by French artist Levalet mold the surroundings into playful scenes.
Graffiti is difficult on its own and the disparity between a good graffiti piece and a bad one is noticeable. When a piece of street art is integrated well into a neighborhood, it embodies the feeling and culture of the area, these pieces do just that.
Levalet uses pieces that were already there such as papers on a wall or oil spills and creates it into pieces with people using these real pieces to create a scene. This is much more than a simple tag.
