The Marriott and GoPro travel partnership means that people staying at select hotels around the world will have the chance to try out the cameras in order to capture unique footage of their vacation adventures. Some of the participating locations include Marriott hotels in the Caribbean and Latin America, featuring high-adrenaline excursions like jungle trekking, swimming, rafting, biking and scuba diving.
Marriott will be lending out GoPro's lightweight Hero 4 cameras to people, encouraging them to share photo and video content online with tags like #GoPro, #travelbrilliantly and #viajegenial. As well as being collected online, there's also the potential for these first-person videos to show up on Marriott International's social media channels and in-room entertainment. This offers travelers a great way to capture memories and try out a new piece of camera equipment and gives both brands lots of exposure.
