Humour can hit the highway; this advertisement doesn't need it for success.
Google has released a brand new commercial for its Chrome browser that is guaranteed to tug at techies' heart strings. The compact clip tells the story of a new father who uses Chrome's services to send emails to his newborn daughter. As his child grows, he continues to send her emails and photos of her growth, giving the commercial's viewers a front row seat in their sappy, sentimental (one-sided) exchange. He uses Chrome as a modern scrapbook, cataloging crucial moments. The cutesy commercial is precious to say the least, and also fulfills its purpose of pushing Chrome by emphasizing its functional features.
The new Google 'Chrome' commercial proves that browsers can be sentimental too!
