Sergi Ventura's first lighting collection merges elegance and fantasy, resulting in whimsical, gold-plated designs. The lights appear to be nearly organic, capturing unique movements through their strong and simple line work.
Each piece was designed to be reminiscent of a lifelike form, including birds and ballerinas. The 'Ballerina' design captures the "sensuality and beauty of the dancer." This particular piece illustrates that sense of beauty through its spiraling gold form. The 'Bird' features an abstract rendition of the creature it's named after, appearing as a long-legged stork with circular lights as eyes.
Each piece was mouth-blown from glass, a highly complicated and rare process which makes these designs so unique. Although abstract, the subtle elegance of these light fixtures are sure to appeal to any modern homeowner.
