In an effort to cater to consumers who want to eat healthier in 2021, Fazoli’s has launched a series of keto and gluten-free Italian dishes like the new Gluten-Friendly Chicken Pesto Rotini.
With more consumers adopting specialty diets such as keto and gluten-free, Fazoli’s is making an effort to better serve those groups. As a result, guests can now choose from a variety of keto and gluten-free takes on traditional Italian dishes. New options include the Low-Carb Pepperoni & Bacon Flatbread, which is a low-carb flatbread topped with garlic butter, mozzarella, pepperoni, and bacon. There's also a new Gluten-Friendly Chicken Pesto Rotini made with gluten-free rotini pasta Alfredo sauce, house-roasted chicken, mozzarella cheese, and basil pesto. As Fazoli’s Director of Culinary Innovation Rick Petralia explains, "we’ve innovated our menu offerings and are introducing new dishes that not only taste incredible, but they address changing consumer needs."
