The Barilla Pesto Range Now Includes Three New Options

The Barilla pesto range has been expanded by the brand with several new options to help consumers incorporate authentic Italian flavor into their daily meals and favorite dishes in an easy way.

The pesto products come in three new flavors including Sweet & Spicy Pepper, Creamy Tomato and Vegan Pesto, which will each make their exclusive debut at Kroger stores in the US this October. The Sweet & Spicy Pepper offers a mild touch of heat, while Creamy Tomato achieves a rich Italian flavor and Vegan Pesto offers a cheese-free alternative to traditional pesto. The sauces will have a wider distribution in 2025.

Pesto Brand Manager Matt Michaels spoke on the new additions to the Barilla pesto range saying, "This Barilla expansion meets consumers’ growing appetite for genuine Italian flavour with a range that offers creamy, spicy and sweet notes to satisfy diverse preferences. With iconic Mediterranean flavor profiles, we believe these pesto sauces will not only inspire new culinary creations but also bring people together around delicious meals, becoming a cherished staple in kitchens across the country."
