It is easy for women to get stuck in a beauty routine that is safe and expected, yet the Glow Canada April 2014 cover shoot encourages them to step outside of their comfort zone for looks that are artistic and dramatic. From pastel lids and triple cat eyes to bold brows and orange lips, the looks are eye-catching without being in the least alienating.
The Glow Canada April 2014 cover shoot was lensed by photographer Owen Bruce with art direction by Daniel MacKinnon. Titled 'Paint It Bright,' it stars Maybelline New York spokeswoman Shu Pei, who expresses a love of travelling in the accompanying article. Her vibrant makeup was done by Grace Lee, who gave the looks a painterly touch, hence the title, with tousled tresses by hair stylist Owen Gould.
