The Glenbow Museum Schmancy campaign promotes a party for eccentrics and artists with a raw sense of humor and no concern for crossing lines. The hilarious illustrations depict what could very well be common conversations that take place during the event. In one case a man asks, "Is it too soon to hit on the widower?" while another man explains to a dog, "You didn't tell me you were going to wear a pink fedora."
Conceived and executed by WAX, an ad agency based in Calgary, Canada, the Glenbow Museum Schmancy campaign essentially depicts "a raucous night of arts and culture." Creative directed by Trent Burton and Sebastian Wilcox, the print ads were both art directed and illustrated by Hans Thiessen.
