Ahead of Ardbeg Day, Ardbeg dropped Ardbeg Spectacular, a themed whisky and one of the most eclectic experiments to date from the Scotch whisky distillery. This whisky is the distillery’s first expression aged in port casks and promises unmissable flavors.
"We invite fans to roll up and feast their palates on its peculiar notes of mint chocolate, incense, lavender and smoked nets, set off by a daring double act of salted caramel and tar," says Ardbeg Master Blender Gillian Macdonald, "Like the finest performances in the circus ring, this is a whisky not to be missed."
In line with its latest launch, the brand has plans to celebrate Ardbeg Day on June 1st with a Dark Circus. The celebration will play up the circus theme with tastings, games and "peaty delights."
