Member Anniversary-Celebrating Whiskies

Ardbeg Celebrates the Ardbeg Committee with Ardbeg Eureka!

Ardbeg marks the 25th anniversary of its dedicated fan community — the Ardbeg Committee — with the release of Ardbeg Eureka!, a whisky designed to reflect the diverse tastes of its members. This limited-edition bottling is the result of a unique experiment called Operation Smokescreen, where a global selection of Ardbeg Committee members sampled and discussed various expressions by the brand.

Using their feedback, Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald crafted a whisky that balances smoky, sweet, and briny elements by incorporating Pedro Ximénez sherry cask-aged whisky with roasted malt spirit matured in bourbon barrels. The resulting flavor profile blends dark chocolate, cinnamon, seaweed, and bonfire smoke.

This release will likely appeal to whisky collectors and Ardbeg enthusiasts, as it represents a rare, community-driven creation.
