California studio OWIU Design has presented the Glass Ridge house, which is nestled in a suburban La Canada Flintridge area. It was originally designed in 1973 by Ray Kappe. The space is defined by its material collected from Asia from the co-founders of the studio.
The couple felt a close connection when they found the property but wanted a few updates to align their aesthetics with their collective experiences as a whole. The studio explains, "The home had been badly neglected for the past 30 years, but the landscape and the architecture had grown together over the years in a harmonious way. [We] wanted to honor this element in the overall design of the home."
