Inspired by the fauna of the Savannah, the GIFU lamp collection is filled with shapes reminiscent of giraffes. The long neck and short legs are graceful and majestic as well as distinctive and familiar. When all together, the GIFU lamp collection looks like one big happy family complete with a doting mother and her children.
Created by Madrid-based designers María del Pilar Velasco and Pau Stephens, the GIFU lamp collection was presented during the 2012 Salone Satellite in Milan, Italy. Crafted out of beech wood, the collection is comprised of two sizes. Each light fixture is made up of foldable components, allowing it to be rearranged depending on need. It can also be folded up complete for easy and convenient storage.
