German Autolabs has designed a digital co-driver using Artificial Intelligence that makes communicating and driving at the same time much simpler and safer.
Called 'Chris', the device was designed to prevent the convenience and safety issues that can occur when people use their smartphones while driving. It is able to attach to a window and connect through a smartphone, where it then displays messages, calls, music and navigation on its small, circular screen. The device has speech recognition and gesture control features so that it can be navigated hands-free. The co-driver is able to work in every car and can be installed easily.
At a time where people are constantly plugged in, devices such as German Autolabs' Chris are able to balance that desire with convenience and safety.
