Sivasdescalzo and ASICS Join Forces on the GEL-LYTE III Sneaker
Barcelona-based retail label Sivasdescalzo works in collaboration with ASICS to launch a sustainable iteration of the GEL-LYTE III sneaker model. The eco-friendly option is a perfect blend of the sporty silhouette with the Spanish luxury of Sivasdescalzo.
The focus behind the design spotlights renewable materials and this includes neoprene, suede, mesh, and overall plant-based textiles as the base foundation. One of the materials on the represents the visual of a burlap sack, with black eco-leather making up the midfoot overlay and the branding Tiger stripe. The collar sees black and white marbled print. This is paired together with shaggy gray suede materials on the mudguard and heel section. Rounding out the shoe is a splash of green at the top eye stay and beneath the collar.
