Glossier's New Gel Cleanser Was Developed with Help from Fans

Cult beauty brand Glossier recently introduced a new gel cleanser product to its lineup, formally known as the 'Milky Jelly Cleanser.'

Development for the product began early last year with a blog post from founder Emily Weiss that asked: "What's your dream cleanser?" Hundreds of comments poured in, where consumers were able to describe certain qualities, ingredients or textures that they deemed desirable. The finished product features ingredients like fragrant rose water, moisturizing Pro-Vitamin B5, hydrating Aquaxyl and Glyceryl Cocoate, which removes dirt with ease.

The multipurpose product can be used on wet or dry skin for the purposes of cleansing or removing makeup and other impurities from the surface of the skin. Best of all, the cleansing power of the Milky Jelly Cleanser shares similarities with many contact lens solutions, meaning that it is suitable as a full-face cleanser, even on and around the eyes.
