The 'Field Studies' exhibition in New York features a number of furniture collaborations that have been created from individuals with largely different points of view and experiences. Online magazine Sight Unseen connects "high profile names" from the entertainment, food and fashion industries with 13 designers in the development of one-of-a-kind pieces that will be auctioned off via online store 1stdibs. The proceeds of each furniture collaboration will be donated to a cause that the teams pick.
Some of the designs include a chromatic Atlas Mirror by studio Bower and actor Seth Rogen and Architecture of Song candlestick holders by The Principals and musicians Angel Olsen. The furniture collaboration exhibition definitely allows for a new vision of interior design to arise.
