Squirrel Monkey Imagines a Funny Instagram App from the 80s

Part of the charm of Instagram its its retro appeal, but this spoof by Squirrel Monkey goes way back to imagine the funny Instagram app that would have been invented in the 80s.

The Instagram spoof describes that in order to use the photo-sharing app, users will need a camera with a roll of film, a home computer and a form to submit the required Instagram paperwork to transfer the images to a floppy disk or a cassette. The paper application also requires users to check off boxes to specify fun filters like sepia, monochrome or blurry.

The real kicker is when the video describes that this 80s version of Instagram takes weeks to deliver by mail, which totally takes the "Insta" out of Instagram.
