The Verley Functional Dairy Proteins Come in Three Varieties

The Verley functional dairy protein range is a lineup of precision-fermented solutions that are targeted towards overcoming the limitations of traditional dairy solutions and plant-based ones.

The range include three varieties including FermWhey Native, FermWhey MicroStab and FermWhey Gel, which are each suited for different applications. The Native variety is targeted towards sports nutrition, while the MicroStab is great for UHT beverages and fresh dairy and the Gel is suited for spoonable dairy and cheese products.

CEO and Co-Founder Stéphane Mac Millan commented on the Verley functional dairy protein range saying, "We are entering a new era of food innovation. Precision fermentation has proven its potential, but its true impact lies in functionality. Our patented functionalisation technologies allow us to develop proteins with 11% more leucine – which is key for muscle maintenance and overall health – than native WPI, and 50% more than soy alternatives.”
