Designer Sylvain Boyer designs the environmentally-friendly smartphone called the 'Friendlui' and it has a negative impact on nature itself. The battery life to any phone is something of a nuisance in this day and age, but the Friendlui uses a considered UI to solve the matter. The phone's operating system makes use of its OLED display so that it doesn't require any energy to produce black pixels, which results in a mass amount of energy preservation.
The interface is paired-down and is developed to be used with only one thumb, which highlights the elliptical icons that recall the thumb position when it touches the screen. The device itself has a back enclosure that is completely constructed from organic elements.
