Ad Clean-Up Campaigns

Free the Article Wipes Away Digital Advertisements That Clutter Screens

To combat the multiple pop-ups and banner ads that are always striving to get your attention no matter what you're looking at online, Korea's Seasoning Lab created the Free the Article concept for Kleenex. The idea behind this campaign is to help people browsing the Internet wipe away the many advertisements that clutter their screens, leaving them with more space to read the content they're actually interested in.

First and foremost, the campaign has users purchase a box of tissues with a NFC sticker tag. From there, this tag can be tagged with a phone to activate the download of a branded app, which pulls up ads that can be swiped away with a finger.
