Four Grain-Enriched Bourbons

Oaklore Distilling Co.'s Four Grain Bourbon is 92-Proof

Oaklore Distilling Co. has launched its flagship Four Grain Bourbon nationwide, and this positions North Carolina as an emerging force in American whiskey production.

The 92-proof spirit combines five- to six-year-old wheated and rye bourbon mash bills. It is finished with an additional eight to twelve months of aging in North Carolina's Piedmont region — an environment distinguished by consistent subtropical humidity that fosters gradual barrel maturation. The Four Grain Bourbon's complex grain composition, which includes 72% corn, 11% wheat, 10% rye, and 7% malted barley, yields nuanced flavors of toffee, vanilla, and butterscotch.

Oaklore Distilling Co.'s latest non-chill filtered expression represents the craftsmanship of its Charlotte-based founders, who transitioned from whiskey enthusiasts to professional distillers through their dedication to regional terroir and traditional methods.
