Fortnitmares Brings Horror to the Popular Battle Royale Game

In celebration of Halloween, Fortnite is unleashing spooking skins and horror-themed exclusives in its 'Fortnitemares' event. Beginning October 24th, 2018, the event will run till November 26th of the same year. Like most Fortnite season events, Fortnitemares will include a host of exclusive character skins, in-game limited-edition items, season-specific challenges and various emotes and actions.

Exclusive to this year's event is the 'Deadfire' skin. Functioning as a "reactive skin," this seasonal exclusive will change based upon a player's performance in a match. The Deadfire skin will be joined by hackled Stone Back Bling and Dark Shard pickaxe, both of which are also reactive skins.

Fortnitemares will also conclude the Fortnite Cube mystery and will force gamers to fight against various Cube monsters while battling other players.
