Supersized Unboxing Stunts

Ford Teams Up with Lewis Hilsenteger to Unbox the New Ford KA+

There's nothing quite like the feeling of opening something new, which is why Ford recently teamed up with Lewis Hilsenteger of YouTube's 'Unbox Therapy' to unveil the new Ford KA+. With the continued popularity of unboxing videos online, the new campaign serves as a clever way to give consumers a look at Ford's latest vehicle.

In order to unbox the supersized package, Hilsenteger joins forces with actress Joanna Page of the popular BBC comedy 'Gavin & Stacey.' Together, Hilsenteger and Page cut through through layers of cardboard, foam and packing peanuts to get to the shiny new car inside. Once fully unwrapped, Hilsenteger and Page explore some of the car's cutting-edge features, including the Ford SYNC system, which allows users to connect their mobile devices directly to the vehicle.

The unboxing stunt for the Ford KA+ cleverly departs from the traditional auto show reveal by giving consumers a close up look at a brand new vehicle.
